Halfway! and House...not to be confused with Halfway House...

I know, I know. I've been doing poorly on updating in a timely fashion. SO instead of trying to catch up and never get this done on time, I decided just to skip what I missed and move on!

I'm Halfway done!! In 20 short weeks we get to meet our little one!!!

What's been going on with baby:

Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)

He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

Praise God! I mentioned in an earlier post..okay like in February or so, that we were so blessed that God provided us a home to live in, in Pearl, MS. Well things we going well, and we met with the owner a couple of times and we were all set to live there. Well from there, my friend Joy said that she had some friends that lived in Pearl and that we should meet! So one day, these friends called us and we went to their house for dinner and to meet them for the first time. Needless to say, we hit it off quite well! Paul and I both love The Sullivan's and The Grisham's (another couple we met for the first time that night).....we find out we can't live in that house....
anyway...fast forward two or three months...during that time Paul and I took that time to seek God as in Acts 17 it says... The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands;nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.

all of this time, we did not know where our appointed boundaries would be in the coming months...this was especially hard for me because being pregnant, I wanted to know that we would have a place to live and it also be a safe place for our baby...

well, God did provide..We've decided to live with our friends, The Grishams, as they've just moved out to this very special place in Bolton, MS. I am very excited to embark on this new journey and am excited to see what God has in store for us there! Man..He works in mysterious ways...
