35 weeks...5 to go...

I'm so excited that I'm nearing the end of this journey. I'm so ready to meet my little girl!

Here's what's been going on in Piper's world:

This week the final touches are being added to my mini-masterpiece and most of her development is going to packing on the pounds. While Piper's movements may be becoming less jerky, she may do her final somersault in the womb soon—to put herself into the head-down position for birth.

Other fascinating facts:

Piper's nails are growing so long they may curl over the tips of her tiny fingers and toes before she sees a pair of clippers. She'll be in serious need of a mani-pedi once she's born (as will I).

Piper is now about 5½ pounds and over 18 inches long—about the size of one of those price-club sheet cakes.

My world:

I got a little stomach bug or something early Thursday morning, which caused anything I had in my body to exit it however it wanted...you get the picture...
I felt awful! Although, I'm feeling much better today. I've just been eating small, easy on my stomach, portions of food...

Sleeping is still terrible...I wish I could sleep on my back sooo bad! I need one of those old people beds that you can lift and maneuver any way you want.

Prayer and Praise:

Praise the Lord for a healthy pregnancy thus far!
Prayer for labor and delivery

Isaiah 66:9
"Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery? says the LORD. Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb? says your God."

35 weeks picture to come...
