Mr. and Mrs. Art Fesmire, of Baton Rouge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Fesmire to Paul Medereath Purser, son of Dr. and Mrs. Jim Purser of Brandon.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School, in Brandon, and is a senior business and marketing major at Mississippi State University.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wilson, of Starkville, and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Fesmire of McComb.
The groom is a graduate of Brandon High School and is a fifth year architect student at Mississippi State University. He is employed by Pryor and Morrow Architects in Columbus.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Moser, of Ft. Smith, Ark., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Med Purser of Jackson.
The wedding will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2008, at The Chapel of Memories at Mississippi State University. A reception will follow at The Hotel Chester in Starkville.
An engagement party to honor the couple was held in November 2007 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Neely of Brandon.
